Memorias de Nuestro Barrio Project- Ongoing
Memories de Nuestro Barrios, which translates to Memories of Our Neighborhood, is a collaborative mural and audiovisual project designed to preserve the history and stories of the residents of the gentrifying Cruz Verde-Lagunillas neighborhood. Senior members of the community are creating a mural, and we will soon begin recording a tour, based on their own stories and memories, of the murals and other iconic locations in the neighborhood.
Memorias de Nuestro Barrio es un proyecto colaborativo de murales y audiovisuales diseñado para preservar la historia y las historias de los residentes del barrio Cruz Verde-Lagunillas, en proceso de gentrificación. Miembros mayores de la comunidad están creando un mural y pronto comenzaremos a grabar un recorrido, basado en sus propias historias y recuerdos, por los murales y otros lugares emblemáticos del barrio.
